David Charles Fredrick

Professor Fredrick received his BA and MA in Classics from the University of Kansas, and his PhD from the University of Southern California in 1992.  He has taught at the University of Arkansas for 15 years. He has published on Roman architecture, wall painting, and poetry, including the edited volume, The Roman Gaze: Vision, Power, and the Body. His research interests include Roman poetry, Roman houses and wall painting, the representation of Rome in cinema, and cultural theory. His primary responsibility in the project is the creation of 3D content in Cinema 4D and lighting/baking in Unity.
